I’ll just make it a Washington Post-themed week. My husband recommended this WaPo story from a few weeks back tracing the path of a letter from the writer’s hands to the President of the United States’ desk. Obama reads 10 letters each night, hand-picked by his staff to represent a sample of Americans’ feelings and the issues that are on our minds. It’s such a cool topic, and the way it’s executed — providing a glimpse inside the letter-sorting process as well as a portrait of a struggling American family — is pitch-perfect.
